Mundering Trip

Today after Sunday service, we did not go to lunch as usual. But we went home because the Canning kids are still having exam. Is that all for Sunday?? No! More exciting stuff at the back.

Diana came picked me & Jono at 3pm together with Stella. Then, we met Cindy, Thomas and Jason in Diana's house before we depart for the world famous award winning pizzeria in Mundering named Little Caesars. The Canning kids went there before us because we, the Curtin~ians were having our final that time. So, the Canning kids got to eat the pizzas twice by asking us to pick up for them. That was not fair tho. Lol.. Anyway, it was a very long trip. Took about 45 minutes to that lil' shop. Sitting at the back of the car, I was thinking that if the pizzas are not as nice as I expected, I will never come back anymore.

But thank God that it did not disappoint tho it did not give me a good first impression coz it was just a small shop along the road, no much difference with other normal shop. When we reached there, it was just about to open (business starts at 4pm till late). It was a family business where all the family members come out and help. Saw the trophy that they have won. There is a big menu with all the prices stated on the wall. Eight of us had three pizza meals and two pizza desserts. All of them were ichiban.

Me & Jono while waiting for the pizza.

This is called the Janes Addiction. The one I like most out of the three meals. It consist of marinated prawns, prosciutto (Italian bacon), garlic cream sauce, wild rocket pesto, and mozzarella cheese.

This is the Chicken Satay Pizza (one of the award winning). As usual, it consists of satay sauce, cheese, onion, capsicum, mushroom and chicken. Believe me not, it is much better taste than the usual chicken satay pizza.

This is the chicken fettucine (one of the award winning as well). It consists of sundried tomatoes, fettucine pasta, cream sauce, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, chicken and bacon.

It's time for dessert pizza. As you can see, it is dark when the dessert pictures were taken tho that time was just around 5.30pm. It gets dark very early during winter unlike in summer, when it only gets dark at 8pm.

This is the mudhoney pizza (award winning as well). The one I like most out of all the pizzas that I have tried. It is actually a chocolate mudcake on pizza base, with honey, icing sugar, chocolate buttons and chocolate sauce. Observe the chocolates on the pizza, but in a while, all the chocolates will start to melt because of the hot, fresh pizza that has just came out from the oven.

This is the Eskimo Joe. I love this as much as I love the mudhoney. Dessert is always my favourite instead of the main meal. This eskimo joe has malt chocolate chip cookie as base, icing sugar, vanilla ice cream as you see and the raspberry fruit sauce.

Besides the usual menu, there also sells some seasonal pizzas like cookies & cream, black forrest, lemon chicken and so on. These are the seasonal pizzas that we have seen when we were there just now. But none of us opt for that. So, we didn't order that. All in all, it was a nice trip. The pizzas were not very expensive as we just had to pay for $8.50 each person to try all of the pizzas. Thanks Diana also for the long ride.

I wish I can go there again this coming semester and I'll definitely have the mudhoney once more. Very looking forward to this trip again.
